    Toan and I trekked to Newcastle to try their exclusive elusive KFC Zinger Banh Mi... Worth it? Not for the Banh Mi but for the memories. 😆 5/10.

    It was really hot today so we bought some ice cream and sat in the air conditioned car while looking out at Bar Beach.

    Checked out Totti's today in Rozelle. The antipasti were really yum, but pasta not as good as Sagra. Good night out though!

    Back to Issho with my friend! The charaishi rice bowl was so good! The pancakes were great as well, but we were too full by the end of it. 🥲

    I tried swimming butterfly today and finally did it!! Need 75m of backsculling to 25m of butterfly though... 😆😆 Baby steps.

    Beef tartare Scampi tartare

    Went to Callao today with friends 🧡 The beef tartare and scampi tartare were really good there! The octopus and skewers were a bit of a miss though. Had Yo-Chi afterwards and above all a great time. 😊

    Last night, we went to Cafe Kooks for an early Valentine's Day dinner. It was their Roti Masterclass section and we learned for ourselves how hard it was to make a good roti!

    The photos here show the chef's roti, which all have big air pockets to give it more of a flakey, airy texture. There were multiple groups of people and none of us could make a roti that had anywhere close to such a big bubble!

    Food was amazing as well and Toan got to try different styles of roti for the first time.

    Started swimming with Toan at my brother's place this month :) He's teaching me to gym too! Let's get fit for 2025.

    New keyboard! It's a SP STAR D82 Pro . Got some Stardew Valley keycaps 😆 Actually quite nice out of the box 😃 Works wireless, Bluetooth and cable yay.

    Mocha milk tea from Machi Machi, with honey jelly. The mocha is whipped into a foam on top. Cute cookies in the shape of a bear and a rabbit. They're lying on a metal baking tray and each hugging a cashew nut. Bear and rabbit cookies flipped over, with a layer of chocolate on the back. Two trays of cookies sitting on top of a drying rack indoors. The drying rack is under the air conditioner. One tray has bear and rabbit cookies while the other has stars. Cookies in a jar-shaped zip-lock bag.

    Good day today! Caught up with some high school friends and baked some cookies :D

    Got the cookie cutters and bags from Daiso

    Followed this recipe for the cookies (added the cashews and chocolate + replaced sugar with brown baking truvia)

    Bought an LG G4 TV. Was so excited to use it when it arrived yesterday, but they forgot to send the stand as well. 🥲

    It comes with a wall mount but the wall separates my room from the bathroom and might have plumbing inside.

    If you didn't receive a stand with your G4, make sure to give them a ring! I ordered from JBHIFI and they said they'll deliver it tomorrow.
